I’m a teacher in France, and I was looking for lowercase worksheets, for a pupil who is handicapped. He can’t learn cursive writing because of his handicap (in France, we usually don’t learn lawercase letters, we just learn upper case, and then cursive letters, and every french pupil is supposed to write in cursive all the time), and worksheets like yours does’nt exist in France. sheet of handwriting patterns to copy (see back of booklet). Put on some music with a discernible beat and encourage the child, first of all to tap along to the music so they have identified the beat, then to complete handwriting.

Delightful Handwriting presents only one stroke pattern in the teacher book. The student copybook does not contain any stroke patterns; it simply shows the letters, so you could teach the stroke patterns of your choice and still use the copybook.   Pre-handwriting patterns are the first step in helping your child to learn how to form letters for handwriting. They help your child to learn the shapes and directional pushes and pulls required to form letters. All letters are a combination of these shapes and lines.

Designed to develop a solid foundation for handwriting success, Targeting Handwriting Student Books and Teaching Guides comprehensively cover the Primary Handwriting Curriculum in a clear and structured way, with content directly linked to state syllabus outcomes. This series is suitable for primary school students and teachers, Years K/Prep–7. Handwriting Without Tears Handwriting Without Tears is an award-winning curriculum that offers multisensory strategies and materials to teach pencil grip, letter formation, and the literacy skills that are needed for print and cursive handwriting.
